Description
These galvanised steel garden staples give a solid hold in all types of ground, including hard, compacted, dry soil. The pack includes 100 U-shaped staples, 150 mm tall and 3 mm thick, with an adjustable width, plus 16 reinforcing washers for extra grip.
They're useful for pinning down weed-control fabric and artificial grass to stop it lifting, securing tomato canes, protective netting or mesh in the vegetable patch, and fixing hoses or fencing. They can also double as tent pegs, and thanks to their anti-corrosion coating, they can be reused season after season.
For safety, take care with the pointed end when driving them in or pulling them out, and use them appropriately on hard ground to avoid injury. Don't place them where cables or pipes are buried. Correctly positioned, their U shape and reinforced thickness give a firm, long-lasting outdoor hold.
